Indispensable!

If you have a lot of cutting out to do, these are for you. I own the small ones as well as the large shears. I once cut out 250 figures from poster board with them and did not get a blister on my hand! They are easy to control and retain their sharpness with no problems. I lost all of my teaching materials in Hurricane Katrina - these scissors were the first thing I replaced!

Works well...

Very sharp with nice handle. Blade coating seems to provide a little more non-stick than with bare steel. Spring is very stiff. I trimmed off 2 coils on the spring and they're perfect for long trimming sessions.

Perfect for Use as Gardening Snips

I love my new snips--they are light, sharp, sturdy, and lock easily. I use them only for light gardening use, primarily floral. They are most handy for trimming all of the flowers my husband brings in from the garden in summer. I am ordering another because I am so pleased with them, and want one for outside and one for inside the house. They are comfortable to hold because of the padded handle. They are smaller than I'd thought but so far they've handled every job I've done with them. I am being careful with them and not using them for heavy pruning (I have pruners for this). I think that if you want some inexpensive quality snips you'll be very pleased with these.

Highly recommended.
