These ARE heavy duty

I got these for landscaping work - cutting back brush, etc. These things are solid - they feel very substantial in your hand, yet at the same time transport easily in your back pocket. You can easily cut through branches that are 1/4" thick. The handles are very comfortable, and you can use them either way - leftie or rightie and within one hand you can flip them over and your fingers still fit bc. there isn't one dedicated space for your thumb. They seem like they'll last forever bc. they seem so very "industrial grade". The pivot point seems to be in the right place bc. you get a lot of force in the blade area without much pressure on your hands.

Fantastic scissors at a great price

I never knew scissors could be this sharp, they cut through anything with ease.

Even hard to cut things like carpet are no trouble.

The scissors are 200mm long (8") in total, with the blades being 80mm (3 1/4").

They're stainless steel, and the blades extend all the way down under the handles for more strengh and power.

The blades are tempered so they hold their sharpness longer.

The handles are large and comfortable, and even with prolonged use I never had sore thumbs and fingers like I do with my other scissors.

If the plastic grip was a bit thicker and softer, and it had an easy way to separate the blades, then these would be perfect.

Awesome scissors and super sharp!

These are very sharp and sturdy scissors. I used them to cut up a rubber doormat. The scissors cut through the doormat easily and left a clean, straight edge. I was also able to cut through plastic zip ties like they were made of butter. Just keep them away from small children and clumsy adults.
