Redesigned and better than before

I had a set of 8" Fiskars for years and that pair grew legs and walked. This is what I replaced them with and I am happier with these than I was with the old ones. The shaped handle is a great improvement over flat style handle spring loaded scissors. The safety clasp has been redesigned so that it won't warp and not work anymore which is great, no more scissors springing open and falling off the table. The blades are quite sharp and if this pair is anything like my old set, they won't need sharpening for at least a decade.

Awesome scissors

These scissors are awesome. I do a lot of sewing and have used a lot of scissors and these have a really smooth motion if you are plagued with hand and arm pain. I have 3 different sizes. I have made a few rag quilts and the ones with the shorter blades are great for that. These allow for extended period of cutting out without tiring my hands. Great product.

Works well. Definitely a good choice for scissors.

I bought these as a replacement for a pair similar to these that got ruined by cutting a lot of improper items for it and thus ruining the blades. These were bought and are off limits to the kids. I like these scissors a lot and they seem very precise and comfortable. However, I would have given it 5 stars except they changed the locking mechanism on this vs the older pair we had and I can't say I like it much. The lock is near the front of the handle closest to the blade and can be difficult to move to unlock and lock. Perhaps it just needs breaking in BUT the old pair had a lock at the end of the handle that swung around and prevented the handles from spreading. I prefer that locking mechanism over the new one.
