5Rag quilting scissors
By Marianne A. Hooker
These scissors are great. They are so helpful at easing tension as you clip the 1/2 inch fringe on rag quilts. Great product that is made well and works well.

1Quickly dulled!
By Chris Banks
I too bought these scissors for cutting a rag quilt. They worked Terrific for the first quilt. By the time I started my second quilt, they were not cutting through every time. Currently, they only bend the fabric and do not cut all the way through most of the time. (I do want to mention that I have never dropped them and they have never been damaged.) I actually don't think that the blade is dull, it appears to be very sharp but for some reason the two blades do not seem to be coming together enough to make a clean cut. It's very frustrating. For the money, I did not expect them to be "one use scissors"!
Why would they work perfectly for the first quilt and then just stop working?
I even had them professionally sharpened and the screw tightened. It did absolutely Nothing.
I will mention that the cutting I do is on denim and not on flannel. Maybe they just couldn't take the toughness of the denim. However, we're only talking about everyday denim fr om jeans, not super strong industial strength denim!
I've looked for a company contact on the internet and have not been able to find one. I would have paid to ship them back to the manufacturer for a repair or sharpening but was not able to find any information.
I am Very disappointed in these scissors.

5Rag Quilt Snips
By Becky
These snips are the best, in my opinion. I have wasted money on other brands, only to have the spring or my hand go limp because of faulty springs. If you are a dedicated rag quilter, you will know what I'm talking about. They are really sharp, and easy to clip close to seams. I love them!
