Gingher scissors sharpening stone

I love this sharpening stone. It sharpened all of my older,fabric scissors (not the microserrated ones) to a keen edge. Follow the easy directions enclosed in the package and you can't go wrong. Plus, each one comes in a little leather pouch to keep it safe. Don't drop it as it might be fragile. I bought 5 more to give as gifts.

Great Scissors Sharpening Stone!

I was so excited to find the Gingher Knife Edge Scissors Sharpening Stone on Amazon. I have tried other scissors sharpeners with poor results. I had no luck in finding a sharpening stone before finding this stone. It works perfectly. I trim my own hair and the hair of my two Yorkiepoos with scissors that must be kept with a precise cutting edge. I, also, use fabric shears with my sewing progects. This Gingher Stone easily keeps both types of scissors sharp!

No instructions!

I gave it a 3 because it didn't come with instructions!! I had to search the web and videos on how to use this product. I have a couple of pairs of Gingher scissors that are fairly new and sharp so I didn't need this yet but I certainly don't want to ruin them either!
