5Outstanding scissors, but get the Finnish made ones!
By Wanderer
As many other Fiskars branded scissors already have in their reviews, you need to be careful with this brand. Fiskars has moved production to China and their current offers are nothing like the quality and reliability you'd get from the original versions, which were made in Finland using Swedish steel.

I happen to have such a pair, picked it up in a brick and mortar tonight. It's marked as being from 2009, so I would imagine that's why it still has "Made in Finland" on it (and the packing). To be clear, I'm not bashing the product, they are absolutely top notch, exceedingly sharp and superbly crafted, probably the best I've ever owned. I just want people to be aware that what you order today from online retailers might not be old stock, it might be the new made-in-China version, of which I can only warn you away from.

So, bottom line, if you can locate some Finnish originals, these are worth every penny and then some, which is why I give them 5 stars . If you can find nothing but the Chinese-made, cheap version they sell today, pass on it and spend your money somewhere else.

5Very sharp and surprisingly well used
By Chloe
The point on these scissors, as well as the blade, is sharp - not for children! I don't sew often, or that much when I do, so I didn't expect to use these much, but they are very useful in lots of ways that I couldn't have anticipated - any time you need a small scissors that is sharp, very sharp, look for these. I have several pairs of regular sized Fiskars, but these are invaluable, and well-made - I've had them for several years and they're still sharp.

5Sharp Handy Scissors
By Carolita Jean Rivera
These scissors are the best. I bought them for my Mom as a gift. She is always busy sewing clothes for her grandchildren and also makes a lot of doll clothes. These scissors are very sharp, great to use when cutting those fine threads. The handles are also very comfortable. I already bought a second pair for myself. My Mom loves these and won't let them out of her site.
